When I reboot, I get 18 apps running in the background and it DOES make my phone laggy.I know task killers are bad so is there a way to reduce the number of startup apps after booting?

I used to use an app called startup auditor on my og Evo. It worked well in keeping things from starting until I wanted them. Now I just keep it to a bare minimum of apps that I actually use and if one of those is misbehaving I uninstall it and get something similar.

This ^. Best advice there is.

JB... you also have an amazing feature in TiBu that freezes apps. Just freeze some of your user apps until you're ready to use them. No point in them running in them background or starting up on boot.

Thanks. So that's what that option is for...
