Disable updates

    I want to stop all updates on my phone. How do I go about this?

    Using titanium back up our equivalent, freeze a file called "updater".

    If you want the ability to update later,you can simply defrost the it :)

    Thanx. Does this work for firmware and os updates? Those are the ones I really want to stop.

    I froze "updater" with Titanium and am still getting the os nag with Verizon phone, doesn't seem to work with 4.4.3.
