Apologies in advance for asking this specific q, but searching may throw a zillion answers to get lost in them, so...

How can I know what may happen when I want to uninstall or stop a Google app, like Chrome or Hangouts, depending on being able to uninstall it or only stop it (it being a built-in thingy), and next thing is getting the warning that it can cause malfunctioning to other apps and/or functions?
    Thanks,

    Dan

Disabling Chrome or Hangouts won't hurt anything. You get that warning when disabling any app, but it really only applies to apps that are part of the core system, or Google framework.

If something were to go weird with disabling something, it can always be enabled.
