I feel like something has changed with notifications all of a sudden, though I haven't updated software recently. I'm running Android 7.0 on the Samsung S8. When I have two emails they show up grouped under Gmail and I hit the arrow to 'expand' and show each individual notification. When I swipe one away it gets rid of both and closes the notification panel. I thought I used to be able to swipe away each message before closing the notification panel myself. This is particularly annoying with text messages. If I swipe away one message I have to open the SMS app to find the other one that I didn't get to mark as read. Any ideas? Am I somehow forgetting how notifications work all of a sudden!?
