K this is a major problem for me at the moment.

I can't seem to keep the screen on when i'm calling someone, is there anything I can do to keep the screen on? I've tried changing the display timeout to 5 mins /tna

I've also got shake awake but that doesn't seem to help either ....

What sort of call? Using a headset I assume? Otherwise the proximity sensors turns the screen off when the phone gets close to your head.

Yea, Mine does this as well and then it wont unlock during a call, so I can`t use the keypad.

Keyboard works for me. Take phone away from head, screen comes on - open keypad with button and type.

I think some screen protectors cover the proximity sensor stopping it from sensing the movement away from your head. You can test the proximity sensor with the Sensor List app.
