I know this runs Android, but from what I understand, it's not as powerful as the other Droid phones.

So do all of the apps and games in the Android Market work on this phone?

Or are some of them designed only for the more powerful/more expensive phones?

No, it's a mid to lower tier Android phone. There will be some apps that, though you can download from the Market, won't perform very well on the phone. I have yet to run into any, but I'm not a big downloader of apps.

Is there any way to know in advance whether or not an app will work well with my phone? I'd hate to waste money on something that I can't use. Do they offer any sort of refund if this happens?

99% of apps work in my experience with only a few games not working...

The main limiting factor with this phone is the slightly non standard screen resolution. In theory, you should only be able to see and d/l apps that will work with a givin device in the market.
