    excellent, anything that promotes and fascilitates the growth of android and its apps can only be a good thing.

    hopefully we will see some creative, 'out of the box' apps as a result.

    I agree sounds like a great idea i would love to have ago at making some apps,but i hope google have a tighter control of what gets put on the market,theres enough crap on there now

    there is plenty of 'crap' in any cultural avenue (look at the music or film industry), and controls through hierarchies do not prevent this (look at the music or film industry), including Apple's.

    Google just need to put a proper search onto the android market. Then you'd be able to filter it (Eg show no apps with a rating lower than 4 star).

    Edit: Just signed up using their form. First task, make a proper to do list. Second, make a nice clock. ;)
