Do not download 4.0.4

Hey 404, sorry to hear you're hear on such dire circumstances. That's unfortunate.

I'll point you to the S2 forums that might be able to offer you some help,

Samsung Epic 4G Touch - Android Forums
Samsung Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile) - Android Forums
Samsung Galaxy S2 (AT&T) - Android Forums
Samsung Galaxy S2 (International) - Android Forums

I'm not really sure what might be causing this, I've never heard of an update doing something like this before. If it's an update pushed out by your carrier (IE: you didn't flash it) you might want to try to bring it in and see what they say.

Good luck,
9to5

EDIT:
I did a bit of poking around in the forums... and these threads might offer some help.

It seems that the update has caused some issues outside of battery drain. Some users were reporting bluetooth problems. One member then mentioned that doing a hard reset might fix some of the issues, so I'd try that. Otherwise... I'm not too sure. Other members say you can root and then go back to a GB rom... Which seems like it'd work to me.

Anyway, good luck!
