I noticed while I was posting in a different thread, every member of my family has a different carrier lol. My dad has att, mom tmorbid, brother verizon, sister cricket(yuck), and I have sprint. Odd huh? Well besides my parents, we all live in separate households, and family plans would be a nightmare. (My dads phone is a business phone, so my mom can't be on it) on a side note, I find it funny when the parents and I go to the local casino for some hold em tournies and cash games(we are quite good, not pro, but good) they lose reception in elevators and certain spots while I maintain a great signal. Haha.

Yeah and? The moments processor is about 3x faster.. more ram, better screen, better keyboard, and I was curious about android. Way to throw the thread off topic on the first reply.

That was a joke, Iowa (left off the :D).

As for the topic, our family, like yours, has several cell phone carriers, mainly because of the different needs and tastes in devices: I wanted an Android so got the Eris with Verizon, wife likes her little very old pink Samsung flip phone, 17 year-old daughter just got her first Blackberry yesterday, a Tour.

Wife and kid are with Sprint. Son, 31, is with T-Mobile (the worst carrier I know of); he's got an old Razr.

Ha its ok. Tmobile and a razr? Drop call city. Yeah if the mftrs made decent hardware for winmo(outside the hd2-so sexy, but still needs qwerty, and a better carrier) iid probably be with winmo still. I think the mftrs are waiting for the winmo7 release before updating hardware. The hd2 simply is the fastest phone ever....

My kid is in construction and is all over the country; his area code on that phone is 910, but he's never there much.

When I look at his old Razr I can hardly believe it still functions; it's busted up and the screen is hazed solid, no display, and there's glue and various other substances all over the keys. But it's his "work phone" so he is rather bonded to it.

OK - bear in mind this is the UK - once all of my family including me were on Orange but no more. Different needs led to better deal elsewhere - mostly.

I'm now on T-Mobile with the T-Mobile G2 Touch - a badged HTC Hero
My wife - Orange - with a Moto RAZR2 V8
Daughter 1 - O2 - with a Blackberry Pearl 8120
Daughter 2 - O2 - with a Sony Ericsson W810i

Right now me and my dad are on T-Mobile (him prepaid me on a contract) and my mother is on AT&T while my brother and his family are all under Sprint. In a few months me and my mother will be going to Sprint as well but my dad will stay with T-Mobile.

The other day at a restaurant I had no service while my mother had 4/5 bars. Also a lot of times when I don't have service my brother does...
