Help Dock acting strangely

Using GO launcher, though I'm not sure if it matters. Whenever I add a browser ico to my home screen it launches the stock browser just fine. But once I drag it to my dock, or add it to the dock directly, it only launches chrome. If I disable chrome it does nothing at all. If I place a chrome shortcut alongside it they both launch chrome. I have tried making the stock browser my default browser but it didn't work. I have no idea what is wrong nor how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
