Accessories dock app weather not working?

I just purchased a multimedia dock for my Droid x and I can't get the dock weather widget to allow me to add a city. It keeps telling me to try again later. I tried trashing and re adding the widget with no success. Is there another way to fix this?

Also, is there any way to use an alternative weather widget for the dock? I can't seem to find any multimedia dock app widgets to download.
