A car wouldnt work without the gearbox. The TF works without the Dock. Not a very good analogy

I wasn't going to bother with the dock, but the more I read, the more useful I'd probably find it.

    I'll not pay

The dock is very good, the connection works well and feels very solid.

The screen comes on when you dock it, it turns off when you shut the 'netbook'
or press the screen lock button on the tablet or keyboard.

It charges the tablet from the dock.

The keys are easy to type on and the trackpad is very responsive.

    I dont think its worth

Well all that's fine for folk who bought the bundle - but NOBODY has the docking keyboard in the UK. Emailed crap Asus about 10 days ago to ask about availability (no reply - Asus needs to learn a lesson or two about basic communication - they are totally useless!). Simplyasus (you would think that they could get hold if it) have a website that has been saying 'coming soon' fpr about five weeks - about as useless as the Minister in the USA predicting the end of the world! And then add insult to injury - HMV stated bold and loud that they would have them in by 1st June - site still says 'awaiting stock'.

Why is Asus such a total waste of time when it comes to marketing? Will they ever learn anything?

Well I'm glad that they prioritised what stock they had into the bundles.
