It's not my device trying to find out what that application is by the icon

I only asked because in android KitKat you can touch and hold the notification to force stop the app if it is annoying you. To know what app that notification is from touch an hold the notification and an icon would appear. If you can't identify what app it is yet then select the 'i' option.
