General Does D3 weigh 5.9oz or 6.5oz?

    If it's going to bother you that much at 6.5oz, I highly recommend you get a gym membership and start lifting free weights.

    Seriously, i keep my phone in my pocket. on pants that i didn't wear belts, with the d2g i need to wear one, the phone pulls them down...

    I just weighed my Droid 3 on a precise scale. It's heavy: 6.5 oz unfortunately. Thank you VZW specs for being wrong...

    Without the battery it weighs 5.5 oz: maybe that's where verizon got the idea?

    Thanks so much for weighing it. I appreciate that.

    And yeah, obviously 6.5 oz isn't heavy compared to say, a cinder block. But compared to a 4.x oz phone, 6.5 will be noticeably heavier both in the hand and in the pocket. Not a huge deal, of course, but I am personally disappointed that it's so much heavier than its contemporaries... and even significantly heavier than the D2G.
