Does desire touchscreen will have the some issue as NEXUS does?
I referee to this:
We are not sure.
It hasn't been released and so it cant be properly tested yet.
It probably does, but to be honest i dont care anymore. Im going to get the phone and enjoy it. I'd imagine this bug affects only a handful of apps anyway
My question is not so much the multitouch problems (never really had any problems with it) but the color issues. When I first saw the N1 display I thought it was beautiful, but then I started noticing the banding in gradients of images so I wonder if the Desire will have the same exact screen as the N1 or if they are using a new one.
apparently android only supports 65,000 colors, or maybe 250,000. Not too sure. This may be the cause of those banding issues. I think with future updates to android this will be resolved.
Android itself I think can support up to 32bits, but the LCD only supports 16 bits (rgb565).
