Support Does HTC Flyer play 1080p movies?

    I was wondering if HTC Flyer plays 1080p movies?:rolleyes: I have some 1080p mkv and avi movie clips, and hope to watch them on HTC Flyer.

    I can say that a 720p mkv struggles to the point where it is not worth it, so im guessing that 1080p is a no. I think avi is easier, I was able to play a 720p avi file without any issues, haven't tried 1080p.

    mkv and avi are containers. they have nothing to do with how fast the video can play. It depends on how the video data is encoded and what codec is being used to play them.

    I will not suggest you put 1080p videos to HTC Flyer. With a 16GB card, you could probably get 30 minutes or less of 1080p footage after you loaded all your music and apps on it. Besides, the HTC Flyer tab can

    Back to confirm that the HTC Flyer doesn't play 1080p movies, not my collections at least.

    And kimkim, thank you. The settings and tool you suggest works fine. I really like that Pavtube saves my settings. And I find when encode mp4 use 3000kbps it gives better quality.
