My phone has been dropped into water, I put it in rice Waited for a day then plugged in in. Boom charging light came on and battery was charging.
But I cannot power it up. The powe button doesn't not work. I opened the phone as hair dried it. Volume, screen works fine, touch buttons too.
But I can't power it up. I cant think of a way to reply a power button.
Anyone experience this before? If so help please
    Should I just give up?

Leave it in rice for a day or 2 to let it absorb the water completely out without attempting to turn it on until then.

Trying to power on without giving it time to completely dry out will damage the hardware possibly permanently.

So try leaving it in the rice a day or 2 and then see what happens then.
