I have a YP-G1 Android media player, running firmware 2.3.5. I also have a D-link DIR-615 wireless N router. I'm guessing here, but every 2 days or so, it wont connect. All day today, my Wifi hasn't worked.

I'm thinking it's either one of two things. Either my router sucks, and I need to buy a new one, or it could possibly be my JuiceDefender app.

Does anything else connect to the router through wifi and have the same issues?

If other devices are not having problems try uninstalling Juice Defender. It's known to sometimes cause trouble. Worth trying at least.

try rebooting the router. my Belkin sometimes just drops the internet and nothing, not even my laptop will work. resetting router and everything is fine. never knew what causes it though, doesn't happen often

I had a router I had to reboot once a week or so because sometimes I couldn't connect to it. I eventually replaced the router and the problem went away.

If nothing works you might want to also try contacting your internet provider.

do other devices connect fine? or all of them? this would be one way to find out whether the device is to blame or the router/internet.

i do know at mom's she has Time Warner and one of their cheap rental router/modem combos always dropped the entire internet when my tablet would connect almost within minutes. if i turned the tablet off it worked fine, turn it back on, connect, BAM! no internet. they eventually replaced it with a Zoom and it was fine after that. it was weird.
