Hi i just transferred an number of mp3 files from my computer onto my SII (Android 4.0.3) but alot of them are not working. Keeps coming up with the error message that this type of audio type is not supported :/

    Tried WinAmp didnt work either.

is there like more drivers i need to install. its weird cause it plays some mp3s but not others

Are you talking about the Samsung Galaxy SII? If so, this thread should be moved to one of the "S2" topics. (<-- NOTE TO MODS / GUIDES)

I own a Galaxy SII from Sprint, and mine played MP3 files right out of the box. That might not be the case with other carriers. Because it's an intermittent problem, it's more likely that your files are being corrupted during transfer. How are you getting your MP3 files onto your phone? Where did they come from?
