General Does Straight Talk send you the same exact phone as a replacement?

    Hi, I am new here.

    I was wondering.

    I called Straight Talk and told them about my broken Galaxy S III, and I was wondering, do they send you the same exact phone as a replacement for your current (broken) phone? Or do they send you a completely different phone than your current (broken) phone?

    Please let me know, I appreciate your answer.

    What sort of replacement, insurance? Probably won't be warranty, not for an S3.

    If it's insurance and as the S3 discontinued and no longer available, will probably be a phone of similar value. Be best to check with Straight Talk though.

    I'll call them and check. I did see that when you go to shop on their site for a new phone, their is no Samsung Galaxy S3 in the list. So they must have discontinued it and removed it from their shop.

    Actually, I found the S3 available at my walmart phone kiosk deal (in front of the cash registers in one of those rooms by the restrooms), at my mall and kmart. So they still are available.

    Also, I'm sure that they will send you a S3 or a phone with similar specs.. I wouldn't expect a free upgrade.

    I contacted Straight Talk and they said I should receive the same make and model.

    I dropped off the package at a FedEx Express Drop Box yesterday afternoon and it says on the box that they well be picking the package up at around 3:15 PM today.

    So as soon as they receive the broken phone they will send the replacement.
