Nope, but the app Bloo is a Facebook app that has that kind of notification. The stock app only.notifies of less important things like pokes, friend requests Facebook mail, all dumb things IMO lol

No the facebook app kinda sucks compared to the blackberry app in my own opinion... actually my wife has the eris and the facebook app on eris has push and is alot better... facebook on my droid seems to be way behind ...

The Facebook apps on the Droid suck, IMO. I turned off my notifications on Bloo because I can't see the pictures my friends comment on. I just get notified via email.

Yeah, that's what I do too. I mean, we get push Gmail, so just have Facebook send you an email for the notifications you want, and you'll get them within a minute of the event actually occuring.

What about if you have the original Droid and upgrade to Android 2.1? From this website: Motorola Home - Motorola USA

    Thank You for your responses!

    Huh?
    What about it?
I have a d1 and am running 2.2.1 - the setting is on FB, not the phone.
The phone'll just catch the email notification.

Facebook has push notifications now...There's also "FLOW" for facebook, which does push notifications better, IMO.
