No, you will still have your apps.

I had to reinstall all of my apps. Luckily, I didn't have any paid apps. Part of the instructions include wiping everything from the phone.

That's true. But the part before that tells you how to back them up and save them to your computer first! :)

I did read that part but wasn't quite sure how to go about it so I just re-downloaded everything.

Here is something I noted. When I went into the market it showed all the apps I had previously installed (Under my apps). If you want to install ALL of your old apps make sure you do them ALL AT ONCE! If you exit the market after you've downloaded only a few, The rest will disappear! When you go back into my apps, It will only show the ones you'd decided to re-download, Not the ones you still wanted/needed to download. X.x

Great tip, September! also...be sure to login to the market with the very same email address you had before or you will be SOL! Ask me...I know! Boo Hoo!!! And the Market will not let you change once you put that wrong email address in you're stuck with it until you remod your phone. :(

That only goes for the free ones. The ones that you paid for will always be there. I think this was discussed in another thread as well.

If you go to the online market (via your computer) they will all be there under 'my account'. Free and paid.

    :)

Exactly. It was a person under the Icarus 1.1 thread. They were asking about the apps also and I told them that they will be deleted and that you will not have to rebuy any apps he paid for. And that if you go to the online Market, and go to My Market Account, you will find all the apps ever downloaded using the particular google account

Jazziette, the backup you are talking about, I dont think it can be used to reinstall the apps. It is a clockwork mod backup and can only be used to restore the phone to exactly the way it was before the installation of the Icarus. The step is to back up the entire ROM, including messages, cache, history, settings. Basically it.clones the phone the way it was before the Icarus install. You cant use it to restore apps. :)

Yeah omarty! (is that Irish?LOL) You're right! But you CAN use TiBu to back up all your apps and data first and then after you flash you can get them all back real easily!

You will not have your apps after Icarus install . But you will not have to rebuy any apps you bought

Im confused. Werent you just generally saying the backup IS to reinstall apps? So I convinced you. Yes, titanium backup, if thats what you call tibu, that is a great way of getting all your apps back :)

I am going to guess, How about German? I know when you speak French it sounds like you are making love. When you speak German it sounds like you are having a major anger management moment. :p
