does the s3 use verizon towers

I purchased a galaxy 2 and found that in uses at&t towers. I do not have at&t sevice in our area and need to return it. Does the galaxy 3 use Verizon?

I believe you need to buy a phone branded to Verizon to use their network. There are many models of phone including the s3 but it needs to be a Verizon s3, not just any s3.
