Root Does this fix streaming music quality problem?

    As we all know, there's a bug in Froyo that's causing a drop in the quality of streaming music (Pandora, Slacker, Rhapsody, etc.). Just yesterday, I received the e-mail below from Google/Android but I'm not really sure what it means. Could someone help decipher this? What do I need to do? Should I do anything with it since I'm running BBv.4?

    yes, the code to fix the problem is now commited to Android. just got to get a ROM and has pulled and incorporated the change. CM6 just added it I know, so one of the recent nightlies would have it.
