Does this happen to you guys?

    Just curious...

    Me and my girls were taking some pictures this morning in the bathroom for facebook/myspace. Is it me or when the camera clicks, the picture takes an additional 3 seconds to take and even if you move directly after it clicks it will be blurry?

    What ways can i improve the camera?

    What are some camera apps that you guys recommend in the market???

    If you post these pictures so we can see exactly what this blurriness looks like we should be able to help more.... *cough*


    But in all seriousness, I've not found any way to eliminate that camera delay either. It's quite irksome.

    When you go to take the picture long press the snap button as soon as it makes a sound the cam will be in focus tap the button again and it will snap a good pic. I figured this out by mistake yesterday. Works for me I hope it will work for you too.

    does anyone else hit the search button by accident when holding the phone with one hand trying to take pictures with the camera button?

    Biggest complaint about the capacitive buttons...Do it all the time.

    A picture IS worth a thousand words.. and yes, mine seems blurry most of the time. As for the search button, I seem to bump that any time the phone is moved..

    lol i am not posting those pictures up here(those are myspace/facebook worthy)

    it's just blurry but i guess i will have to work on mastering it

    and I ALWAYS HIT ONE OF THOSE BUTTONS WHEN TAKING A PIC. ITS ANNOYING :(
    but um yeah guys..

    What apps do you guys recommend for a camera app?

    i heard of fx but i want something better

    I've just learned to hold the camera (AKA Droid) still for a good long time after hearing the "shutter" click.

    I've experienced the same delay which got me looking too. I've heard good things about Camera Pro 5X but haven't installed yet. There's not alot out there yet unfortunately.

    I believe this is exactly what I did with my LG Env. Basically the sound is a sound letting you know the camera is finished with auto focusing, so all I had to do next was click the camera button again.

    I just set my camera to 2MP. It takes pictures WAY faster and for Facebook/Myspace 2MP is plenty because they shrink the pictures anyway.

    meh, 5 or bust! yeah the low light of the bathroom may ruin it a bit.

    lol perhaps I shouldn't have said we were taking pix in the bathroom...

    i gave too much details lol

    We were just back from Volleyball and that's it haha

    Anyways i know the little noise is makes when it autofocuses...that's not the noise. The noise is a click to notify the picture has been taken yet when i move the camera after it clicks it's blurry...Why idk?
