I just mounted my Incredible on my desktop to load some music, and there is already an MP3 folder with 7 or 7 folders of music preloaded.

Plus a dcim folder with some pictures on it....

    is this normal?

Yes. They're on the Internal storage in the MP3 folder. I deleted them before putting all my music in there.

I deleted them using ASTRO, but they still pop up when I start the MP3 player... Is there any way to delete them from showing up in the player as well?

  6. How did you access the internal memory using Astro? I can't seem to figure it out. It only tries to look for a microSD card, which I have being shipped to me, thus am not using one.

Just press the up button, from there I have no idea where things are. It's annoying having those albums pop up after I deleted them from the MP3 file.

Try hooking your phone to your computer via USB. Phone should automatically present a screen of options. First one is "Charge only" (default". Select the option that hooks your phone up as a drive to your computer. On your computer select the drive that is designated your phone, open the MP3 folder, and delete folders/files.

You might as well delete the album art as well. This was the first thing i did when i got mine, clearing the crap out of the mp3 and photo folders.
