Hey everyone,

I'm on the 3 network and in quite a few places I have the R above my signal block to indiciate that I'm roaming (I think)?

I was wondering if I'm incurring any charges as I'm still in the UK, and if I would occur charges if I enabled roaming internet?

Thanks.

Yes, The 'R' does indicate that you're roaming. As for whether you will incur any charges, I'm not sure, but I would think so. You would be better off contacting 3 about it as they will know better than me.
Incidentally, I have roaming turned off to prevent this from happening, as I don't want to incur any extra charges ;)

Edit: It seems nx1977 knows better than me lol :)

Roaming on the 3 network will not charge you extra. The reason being that 3 only have a 3G network, they have a network sharing agreement with Orange I think where by 3 customers can roam onto that network for free when outside of a 3 3G network.

So in the UK it's ok, outside of the UK it will cost you
