Dont know what to do about official ics for my rooted phone??

I am currently trying Siyah 3.0.1, with andyx Rom 10.1 and am really enjoying it!

With orange soon releasing their ics for the phone i dont know if what i have now will be better or not???

I do miss signal boost for my orange phone which only works with official firmware, are there any signal boosting apps that work? (i have tried various modems but i really do work in the middle of nowhere (but with wifi))

Since you are only worried about going back to orange when ICS is launched and are comfortable with your current rom, just wait till orange releases their update, then it shall be available for download either on the xda thread or sammobile.com or the many other sites with official packages.
Just flash the firmware then, you can compare the performance of the two roms and decide about switching then only.
