    Is their any way to keep my phone from going dormant.. "Samsung Moment"

    not sure what you mean by dormant but if you're referring to the screen timing out, go to settings > sound & display > screen timeout

    and set it to a higher time. i think the max is 30 minutes.

    course doing that is gonna make your battery time even less....

    I've got mine set to 10 minutes. I'd prefer 5, but it's not an option.
