Help Double events in my Calendar

I downloaded Smooth Calendar when I first had my Wildfire and been very pleased with it
I like the fact it just shows a little box with the days events Instead of a whole page

However now I seem to be getting double events in it.

I have not changed any settings at all

When I open Smooth Calendars settings - Calendars menu it shows -

PC Sync -
My Gmail account -
Contacts Birthdays and Events (which also show in Gmail)

I do not use Outlook

Just want a simple Calendar to add birthdays and family events
But not two of each lol
