Double tones on keypad while in call?

Hey all,

when I am on a call, if I need to use the keypad for something like entering a credit card number, or selecting a prompt in a phone tree, I get a double tone. Its almost as if I am hitting the number twice, in rapid succession, which I'm not.

Any ideas?

Running a rooted droid, with Dew's smoked glass ROM. THis also happened while running CyanogenMOD so I am guessing the ROM isnt the issue.
