DOUBTS ABOUT YOUTUBE APP

HOW DO YOU SHARE A VIDEO VIA YOUTUBE ? Since when since September 2019 have deleted the messages that I know can only be shared through third party apps and not with youtube itself, confirmed ?
Because I knew that few times ago it was possible sharing a youtube video directly on youtube by sending an email to friends("Message from Youtube "), and I wanted to know if this feature had been removed permanently
    2) HOW DO I FIND THE YOUTUBE FRIENDS LIST? I have never seen it, the only list I have is the Google Contacts section.
3)A more technical question: on Android I linked my Google account with the Youtube app and it didn't let me disconnect anymore, so I uninstalled the recent updates of the app to bring it back to the original version (now it doesn't let me use it and it tells me to update it.)Now I have on the phone the original version of the app, which needs update to work.
Did I make a mess according to you (like sharing something by mistake) or Did I just disconnect the account and that's it?

On 3 the simpler explanation is that Google's business model is based on monitoring people's activities. Hence a YouTube app that is always signed in to an account on your phone is of more value to them than one that can be used without being signed in, so they have removed the option to sign out and it's not surprising that they are blocking the older version. Remember that these corporations serve their own interests, not yours.

The closest there currently is is an "incognito mode", which is supposed to delete records of what you have viewed when in that mode. Whether you trust that to stop Google watching, or whether there's some small print or a hidden backdoor in their system that lets them record it indirectly (such as the way that turning off location history doesn't stop them recording your location unless you also turn off app and web activity logging), is something you need to judge for yourself.

If you want to use YouTube on your phone without being logged into a Google account, use a browser rather than your app. And if it is Google you are concerned about tracking you, probably best if that browser isn't Chrome.

Yeah,in fact I tried to find log out button but it wasn't here
    1) But did I make a mistake coming back to the original version as I wrote ? Did I share something unwittingly ?
2)And about question 1 and 2 what do you think ?

You didn't make a mistake in reverting to the old app. These are choices that Google made, including blocking the old app (which would have been the one that originally came with the phone or in the last major system update - you can't roll back one version, just revert to the original).

You could look on Apkmirror.com and see whether you can find the last version before they removed the option, and see whether that one still works. But I'd not be surprised if it doesn't.

I've no opinion on the other questions as I've never used those features. In fact I've never voluntarily logged in to YouTube, though if I use the Android app I will be involuntarily logged in. YouTube isn't a significant part of my life.

All of that is gone as far as I know.

There are no more Youtube messages between users of Youtube.

And as for you wanting to watch Youtube without logging in, there are 'wrapper' apps that allow you to do this, among other things ( like downloading and background player).

    I like and use NewPipe.

    https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.schabi.newpipe/

As far as sharing videos from Youtube, you simpny copy the link to your clipboard, then paste the link into a message (in whatever messaging app you use) and send it.

Your friend can then tap the link, and it should open.

I had a modified You Tube app from Team BlackOut that suddenly stopped working. I was forced to update and noticed there was no longer a setting to log out. I believe @Hadron put it best when he said "Google's business model is based on monitoring people's activities".

Great advice @puppykickr :) , I like New Pipe as well. Its an excellent alternative to the official YouTube app. In fact, I deleted You Tube and its libs on my rooted device. I also deleted Chrome :) .

    Yes.
Possibly the best thing about older Google apps no longer working is that on devices that are not rooted they will not be active.

As my devices are not rootable, downgrading them to their original state and replacing them with better apps is the best option.

Ok,but how or where can I find my friends ? Is there no a friend list anymore ?

This was done away with months ago.

There was plenty of warning, so you could have made other arrangements to stay in contact with these people.

If they have Youtube channels, and any content on those channels, you might try leaving a comment toa video and see if you get a response.

Adding this question to the question of my previous post:
On Youtube Is the "Share" button the only way to share something ? Simplifying:if you don't click it and select where you want to share a file, are you sure that you have shared nothing, right ?

You sure seem to be awfully worried about sharing things, and it makes me wonder just what it is that you are not wanting to share.
    (sarcasm)

Anyway, just stay away from any button online that you find that says 'SHARE' on it- unless you want to share something.

Generally, whatever you are viewing on that page at the moment is what would be shared, so there is no mystery for you as to what would have been shared.

And even if you did go through the multiple steps to share whatever it was that you were looking at, you would then need to decide exactly who or what you are sharing it with, so once again, there should be no mystery for you here either.

I think I should make you a video that shows all the steps required to share something, so that you can see a sucessful share and what must transpire in order for it to happen.

Hopefully this will alleviate some of your worries on this issue.

    It would appear so.
I tried the link in the article, and it is no longer active.

So it appears that whatever was available to download as far as messages and a friends list- well, that would be gone.

So if you want to contact your friend, how could be it possible ?

I am going to assume you mean how to contact a friend on YouTube ... if they have a YouTube channel and you know or subscribe to the channel, you can go to the "about" tab and they *may* have an email contact, although generally they are not displayed. As @puppykickr suggested, leave a comment on their most recent video asking them to contact you via email or some other method, but please don't post your address there. It's public.

So summarizing:there isn't the private messages service via Youtube and the friend list anymore, the only way to contact a friend
is through his channel(if he has one) or sharing via third-party apps and uninstalling the recent updates of the app to bringing it back to the original version didn't make a mistake(but I unistalled with the youtube account connected,so I don't know if there were any consequences),do you confirm?

Your sentence is a little muddled, so I may be misreading you. But if the friend lists have been removed from Google's system then installing an old version of the app won't help.

My sentence is about possible mistakes I might have made (uninstalling the updates I think I simply brought the app back to an older version, or I did something else too ? Then I unistalled the updates with my account still logged in and so I wouldn't want to have inadvertently screwed up
