Help Downloaded pictures not saving

Ok, this is weird, and I'm not exactly phone smart, like my smart phone, heh...

This started happening recently, I'd like to say just after the latest Android update (5.1.0?). I'm one of them hammerheads that like to respond to posts and threads on Facebook and text messages with a picture. The problem I'm having is, I will download a picture from the interwebz, and the picture will not appear anywhere in my phone unless I reboot, like turn the darn thing off, then back on again. After rebooting, the picture appears in my Gallery.

I am really hoping for some help here, as this is a SUPER annoying problem.

Mine just started the same problem last night. I cannot save photos from text messages which i get alot of my granddaughter...cannot save photos from face book or anything..and all of the photos that were in my gallery are now GONE!!!!! I have the LG v10

Sounds like a bug that LG had with that update, two users reporting same issue. Might have to contact LG tech support, see if they can suggest anything.
