    Hi there

I have recently purchased a Ubislate 7Ci tablet. It runs Andriod 4.4.2

Seems to work OK and connects to the internet via Wi-Fi with out any problems. I managed to download one app from Google Play then I couldn't download any more or update any existing apps. i recieve an error message (Error receiving information from server [RPC: S-3])

I am very new to Andriod devices so any advice would be nuch appreciated.

    Martyn:)

It doesn't look like that particular tablet includes support for Google Play. Your best bet would be to look at an alternative source of apps (Amazon App Store is a popular choice).

Old news - you'll find the fix all over the web:

Go to Accounts. Remove your gmail account. Add a new account. Put in the same address and password.

(Don't ask me why - I don't even work here.)

Unfortunately this fix only works temporarily. i can download one or two Apps but then it fails again. I really would like a permanent fix as it is really frustrating :(
