So I've heard that Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been made available on the LG G3. I have an unlocked one that I put on Cricket Wireless. According to other internet sources, I should be able to get the Marshmallow update right now, but I keep checking for an update on my phone, and it's telling me it's up to date. How can I get the update, or will I ever be able to get the update?
    Thanks!

Unlocking shouldn't affect updates, though I've heard some US carrier models may require the original carrier's SIM to find the update (ATT? I'm not American so don't follow this that closely).

There is also the issue of did you buy it unlocked from a carrier, or straight from Samsung? If it's from a carrier and just unlocked, it's still bound to that carrier's whims on whether they would send out an update or not. The update files can be in the carrier's hard drive waiting for approval to send out but they didn't bother.
