Help downloading outside of wifi

i just got my x2...i lve it, but im starting to have some problems. My phone WILL NOT download anything in 3G mode...my banking app has quit working...but when im connected to wifi it all works. any tips?

also...
my wifes phone is going nuts (we've only had em for 5 days)...hers kicks her out of texting...auto ends calls...says camera isnt initialized...whats goig on? PLEASE HELP!

I would try a factory reset. and if that doesn't work, or if the problem comes back, take them back to verizon and get replacements. You have 30 days from purchase.

For what it's worth, my DX2 won't download any new apps unless wifi is available; and no apps will work unless there's at least 3G service. Just a novice here, but kind of think there's not enough power to do anything more serious without 3G or wifi ability. Check to see if you have at least 3G service available. If it's less, you probably won't be able to use anything outside of regular texting or calling.

A thought occurs to me. Verizon blocks some apps. That would explain why you wouldn't be able to download on 3g. It's still a malfunction. But, it would be on Verizon's end. as for apps that are already downloaded not working without 3G, I assume you mean web based apps (or apps that require data) only. If something that is completely internal (such as games or word processing app), I'm not sure what to tell you. But, yes. Data apps will only work in a 3g area. 1x isn't capable of data.
On that note, jhudson, if your banking app will only work on wifi, your 3g radio may be messed up. I'm assuming you are still stock here. If so, a factory reset would probably fix it.

My nephew had this problem...Finally figured it out.. Go to ..settings..battery & data manager...Data saver....Be sure Data saver is UN checked..

it did...i found that the other day and turned it off..works finr now
