Downloading / updating from market - fail

Does anyone have any tips on how to get my Market app working again? My year old HTC DHD has suddenly stopped even attempting to download or update apps - it just says failed. I've tried clearing the Market cache, force stopping, done same with the Download Manager. Restarted. Nothing. There's a Wildfire in the house that has absolutely no issues with Market.

Any suggestions?

Check to make sure you don't have multiple gmail accounts on your phone, then clear data and cache from the android market and reopen the market app to see if that resolves the issue.

Get rid of the market completely from your phone (if you're rooted) and then reinstall the market apk...problem solved
