Is there an app to download voicemails or a way I can do it?
Not stock Verizon but Google Voice and YouMail (market) store vm written and audio.
if you have stock verizon voicemail try this.
put a male to male headphone jack into your phone and into your computers mic input. use some recording program and record it off your phone?
if that makes sense, i think that's the only way you can do it.
i did this just now with Audacity. Works pretty well, and sound quality is decent for voicemail
I have audacity, so ill try it, thanks!
Try to find a Google Voice invite. It will also e-mail or text you with the text of the message. Plus you never have to call your voicemail. The message is easily accessible in several places.....phone and home computer.
i would also second making the switch to google voice as your voicemail provider.
it does take some initial set-up that can be confusing, but it is worth it.
head over here http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid/45154-grandmasterb-presents-karma.html and see if some one has an invite they'd give you for free or trade for something
use Verizons VVM - visual voice mail - service and you can save and download the voicemail files they send you. only hitch, 2.99 per month
FOX, audacity download worked GREAT, thanks!
