Driod out of stock

I was wondering if anybody knew when the phone will be back in stock, because the last time one of verizons phones went out of stock it was discontinued.

All I know is I have 2 lines that are eligible for an upgrade right now and I went and checked after logging into my account and it was going to let me get 2 new Droids so I think this may be a little pre-mature.

I think its out regionally. Some people can order it and some cant. If the warehouse closest to you is out then you are out of luck. Motorola stopped production on them awhile ago

Droid 2 is why the production of Droid 1 stopped. It forces upgrades.

I was able to order two brand new Droids last night from an online reseller and they shipped today. I was also eligible for upgrade. PM me if you want the website.

To clarify again, this was NOT from the Verizon site but from an authorized reseller of Verizon.

I think there will still be a good chance of finding them in some areas but I am sure they are trying to force upgrades, heck they are letting people upgrade early just to get the Droid 2 and Droid X out there. Really makes me wonder if they want people on the new locked bootloader that bad. If thats the case watch them make Asurion give out Droid 2s instead of Droid 1s, I'd break my phone on purpose then. Glad I got a good working D1 and upgrade ability. Might goto D2 then switch back if its not all that great.
