Support Droid 2 Compass Calibration

    I have been rotating my D2 for 10+ minutes on all three axes and the compass never turns green. How long should it take? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

    It does take a while but its worth it. Mine use to lag some when rotating the screen but now its instant. Try mixing up your rotations, don't use a set pattern.

    There's a thread on this on the Moto forums...it does not work for many people. Someone from Moto is trying to get instructions that work for more people...

    I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you're having GPS accuracy problems.

    I got the portrait mode to work, I haven't been able to get the "keyboard open" calibration to work. After a while you start feeling a little akward with the phone acrobatics.
