Droid 2 G Keeps Freezing

Hello all I have had my Droid 2 G 2 days and it keeps freezing up .. gets stuck on the M screen ... is this normal Or should I return it ?

did you root your phone? do a battery pull. if that doesnt work get into recovery? otherwise, get a sbf image, rsd lite, and motorola drivers.

I did not root phone .. what is
a sbf image, rsd lite, and motorola drivers

if its under warranty and you did not root then take it to verizon. I only was on a rooted scenario.

I had a 30 min phone convo today the phone Rebooted 3 times .. Called Vz it going back
I asked for the Droid 2 NOT Global Hope to get a bit more bat life out of it
