Hi folks, I'm currently using a Droid 2 Global that I got from Verizon about a year ago. Had it unlocked by Verizon before coming over to the UK and have been using a 3 UK sim card since.

When I first started using the phone, I noticed that on occasion, when making an outgoing call, I couldn't hear the person I was calling. I would restart the phone and the call would connect normally.

Today, I haven't been able to get my outgoing calls to work even after restarting the phone. My data, texts, and incoming calls all work fine. My phone will make the outgoing call and connect (I experimented by calling my office line), but the receiving end can't hear me nor can I hear them.

Anybody have any idea as to what may be going on? Thanks!

This is an off the wall guess but, Menu > Settings > Call settings in the "other call settings" make sure TTY mod is turned off. That is what is sounds like since the phone actually makes the call. You can type back and forth but there is no sound in tty.
