    Hi all,

I have a Droid 2 from Verizon. Today I downloaded the z4root.apk and it worked great.. It rebooted & I didn't have any issues.. My dumba$$ nephew decided to download some rooted font program off on the Market. Now during the reboot it froze up.. He pulled the battery & now it won't go past the Motorola logo during startup.. I did a hard startup but it still wont load past the logo.. Is it a paperweight now??

Thanks for any info/help you can give me...

    -Bear

    Did he kill my phone?

Hey, Mr Bear, welcome to the AndroidForums :)!

    Glad you signed-up with us.

I'm going to move your thread to the all-things-root sub-forum for the Droid 2 where you'll get some expert help from those folks since they know your phone's root characteristics best.

    Cheers!

edit: oops, looks like someone else already beat me to it ;).

Your going to have to boot up into stock recovery via battery pull then put it back in and press and hold power button and "x" on keyboard. Once the Android guy shows up press the magnifying glass (on keyboard) and Wipe Cache and Wipe Data and reboot system.
