I'm having a strange problem with my Droid 2. It will not charge when the battery temperature is above roughly 30 C (86 F). If the phone is warm and I plug it into the charger, it won't charge no matter what. If it's cool and I plug it into the charger, it will charge until it warms up, then it will say that the charger was disconnected. However, it always charges when I plug it into my computer, no matter what the temperature.

It isn't the battery -- I've tried two. It isn't the charger -- I have three, all Motorola brand.

Has anyone seen anything like this? I'm about to send it in for repair.

I'm having the exact same problem too. Every time I plug my Droid 2 into my car dock (or car charger for that matter), the phone says it's charging but the battery percentage will still decrease. This happens mostly when I'm using cardock and GPS on (which makes my phone rather hot), but will ONLY happen in my car. I thought it might have been a power issue, but your overheating makes a lot more sense. I'm gonna call Motorola soon, because this is getting ridiculous; it's making my phone worthless in the car.
