Help Droid 3 keeps looking for SD card

So i have have the Droid 3, and for the past couple of weeks my phone sometimes looks for my SD card even though i don't have one. Like, apps wont work because they are looking for my SD card that doesn't exist. And when i look in the storage area under settings, the internal storage says information unavailable. When i reboot my phone everything works fine again, but then after a while it does the same thing, trying to look for a SD card that doesn't exist. Why is this happening and how do i fix it?

Mine did that when I first got it. Take the back off and remove the battery. Remove the SD card and put in back in (make sure it is in all the way). In my case the card wasn't in all the way so it would occasionally slide out just a little making the phone look for it.

Remove the battery and then find a microSD card put it in and turn the phone on then remove it. That might work.

Okay, well I said find one if its that big of a deal to him a 1g microsd card is cheap and there's no reason to post over and over saying he doesn't have one.
