Well, my verizon dealer said my phone would work internationally. I am now in Germany and I cannot get any signal for any service. Where do I start to get this phone to work.

Help! My Verizon carrier said I would have international connection with my Motorola Droid 3. So far it has not found any network server. Where do I start. Frustrated!

Do you have a sim card for a carrier in Europe? Most networks in Europe are GSM based (sim card required) while Verizon is a CDMA network. Most global or world phones on Verizon have a slot for a sim card.

You should be able to go to a shop in Germany and pick up a pay-as-you-go sim for while you are there.
