Could somebody either make the Droid X Boot animation for CM7 or tell me how? I have Tickerguys 9/20 build, so there shouldn't be a customization problem.
    Thanks!

So we could take that zip and use cwm to flash it to any rom?:D

In CM7 it is in /system/media (same as where you would get it from ziggy's ROM). You can also find it, and many other animations online if you look a little bit. They are not hard to find.

There isn't a bootanimation.zip file in there on stock, do I just add it?

I'm pretty sure, yeah. Its that way in CM7 also(i didn't notice one, and its completley blank there, so...)
I just added it into there, and I was warned about blah blah overwriting blah blah... just make sure you have a nandroid backup... ;)

he said he was using stock froyo... am I right in thinking the bootaimation.zip goes in the same place?

I believe it is the same regardless, I remember there being something with the /hidden folder, but I think that was the sounds for the bootanimation.

You should be able to just put it in that folder and it will work on boot.

I just did a saerch and found that there is a couple on STOCK in:
    /hidden/data/Power-on animation/
    /hidden/data/CDA/content/start-up-image/

try in /system/media first, and then reboot, if it doesn't work try the /hidden folder.
