How can I receive e-mails on a timely basis? I seem to get e-mails in batchs every 3-4 hours. Is there any way to receive them in "real time"?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. You can change to frequency that your Charge checks for emails in your settings. Be advised that the more often you have your phone syncing, the more battery it will consume. To find out more just follow this link to the Droid Charge sub forum. Samsung Droid Charge - Android Forums The users there can advise you on the how to change the settings on your device.

    Welcome to Android Forums!

There are a few ways to do this. Olbriar gave you a good suggestion for native mail. Another option would have your POP and IMAP mail forwarded to your gmail account which then would push a notification to you in real time. As long as you set your email server to forward immediately, it would be very timely.
