Droid Charge Owners...Honestly, Did they fix the Web Browser Lag?

Please be honest people....the web browser looked painfully slow with a lot of lag during some of the early reviews. I don't like dolphin or any of the other web browsers, so that's not an option. I like using the stock browser. So with the delay, has that issue been fixed, or is it still present on the phone?

Hummingbird is fast enough, if not bogged down with an inefficient file and cache system, Wiz and bloatware.

A rooted, clean rommed' Charge would probably make even whiny people like me happy.

My charge is on the way...can't take the sms bug on the Thunderbolt anymore. I don't mind touch wiz, and if it gets on my nerves I'll just throw launcher pro on it...and what sold me is the camera...my Fascinate cam was awesome.

Well I spent some time playing with a charge ar VZ today and the web was a bit laggy, but what worried more as I started to play with the phone more and more the entire phone seems to start bogging down. Too bad, I don't see this being a $299 phone. The TB next to it was far more responsive. Shaem too sicne the Charge is supposed to have far better battery life and the screen is gorgeous! If the phone were $149 or maybe even $199, but no way for $299.

The browser doesn't seem to be slow at all...nor does the phone.

I've never had issues with bogging down/slow down/lag on any of My samsung phones.

I'm surprised how much i like it, I very well may end up keeping this. I said, i was going to return it for the Xperia play but I actually am in love with my charge.

Good to hear...I'll take your word for it! Only Girl I can think of that goes through as many phones as me. So if your liking it, it must be a pretty speedy solid device.

I am using the touchwiz interface.
After Sony Timescape on the Xperia Phone, touchwiz is my 2nd favorite UI.

I've only used Launcher pro(and ADW & Go Launcher) on slower phones like my Droid eris.

I hate replacement launchers because they take up ram on my phone for another app.

Damm...u a smart chickie! Yea I can deal with Touchwiz, takes me back to my Apple 3Gs days....lol.

I pretty much like staying stock for the most part myself. I also hate replacement browsers...

To each his/her own. But I don't mind using Launcher Pro and Dolphin, Xscope browser. Launcher Pro doesn't take up much on RAM by efficient use of screen cache and it usually makes screen response a bit faster.

What issue did you have with SMS on TB?
