The clock/media center on the DROID when I place it into the docking station is cool but actually really annoying. It defaults to the brightest screen setting (which is really bright when all the lights are out in the room...I use it as my alarm clock), which means every time I hook it in I have exit out of the media center, decrease the screen brightness via a widget, then enter back into the media center. Does anyone know if there is a way to either download a different program to run when the DROID is placed into the docking station or place the settings so it doesn't default to the brightest screen setting? Even on the lowest setting the screen is really bright, but much better than the default brightest screen setting. Sidenote, I think the media center when docking the DROID needs completely revamped anyway...if any developers by any chance read this. The "nightlight" setting is actually brighter than the regular setting. The media center/clock needs to be changed in its nightlight setting from the lightish blue to basically all black except the icons and clock in a faint green so that the phone is giving off as little light while still making it readable at night in the dark. The way it is now looks good on a youtube demo vid, but in real life it's actually less practical since it's so bright. Just sayin.
